No Return: Indura and the Art of Total Destruction

Indura’s (@indura_dubz) music is built around pressure. Pulling from the darker edges of riddim and tearout, the project combines aggressive sound design, horror-inspired atmosphere, and relentless pacing into sets designed to feel overwhelming from the very first drop. But beyond the heaviness, there’s a larger vision behind the project: creating an immersive experience where visuals, tension, and crowd energy all collide into complete mayhem. Ahead of NO RETURN at Santos Bar, we talked with Indura about underground bass culture, returning to New Orleans, and pushing intensity as far as possible in a live setting.

NOLA EDM: For people discovering you through No Return, who is Indura? Tell us about your background, your sound, and what you bring to the dance floor.

Indura: I’m Indura, an artist built around chaos, horror, and pure destructive energy. My sound lives in the darker side of bass music, blending heavy riddim and tearout with aggressive sound design, eerie atmospheres, and relentless drops meant to overwhelm the crowd from start to finish. Everything about the project is centered around intensity. Whether it’s the music, visuals, or live performance, the goal is to create an experience that feels violent, cinematic, and unforgettable. I want people stepping into an Indura set to feel like they’re entering complete mayhem high energy, nonstop movement, and absolute destruction on the dance floor.

NOLA EDM: Your sound sits firmly in bass culture. How are you shaping your set for a two-stage, high-energy night like No Return?

Indura: For a high energy event like No Return, I’m building my set to feel nonstop and overwhelming from the moment it starts. Since the event is built around heavy bass culture and multiple stages, I want my set to stand out by pushing intensity and atmosphere as far as possible. Expect heavy doubles, high energy pacing, dark tension building moments, and brutal switch ups designed to keep the dance floor moving nonstop. I want people leaving the set feeling like they survived complete destruction.

NOLA EDM: What draws you to underground events like one?

Indura: What draws me to underground events is the raw energy and passion behind them. The underground scene feels real it’s built by people who genuinely love the music and the culture, not just the mainstream image around it. Those crowds come ready for chaos, heavy music, and unforgettable moments, which fits perfectly with what I try to bring as Indura.

NOLA EDM: You’re back in New Orleans for this one. What does that return feel like for you?

Indura: Coming back to New Orleans feels huge for me. The city has an energy that matches exactly what I try to bring with Indura

NOLA EDM: What does being part of a lineup like this mean to you?

Indura: Being part of a lineup like this means a lot because it’s an opportunity to stand alongside artists who are all bringing their own energy and pushing bass music forward in their own way. Events like No Return represent the heart of the underground scene passionate artists, heavy music, and crowds that genuinely care about the experience.

NOLA EDM: Looking ahead through the rest of 2026, what projects, releases, or shows should people keep an eye out for from you?

Indura:There’s a lot coming for Indura through the rest of 2026. I’ve got multiple solo releases and collaborations on the way that keep pushing the darker, heavier direction of the project even further. I’m also working toward a full album planned for October 13, which is going to bring together the horror atmosphere, chaos, and aggressive sound that defines Indura into one complete experience. Outside of the music, there’s also a brand new mask and updated visuals in the works to evolve the project’s identity and live presence even more. As far as shows go, I’m staying active and always open for bookings, with the goal of bringing the Indura experience to as many cities and crowds as possible throughout the year.

Indura also just teased an unreleased track, Blood Morning, giving a glimpse into the darker direction of the project ahead of NO RETURN.
