GLTTRAVE: Holiday Slay Brings Glitter, Bass, and PLUR Back to The Rabbit Hole

In this exclusive interview, we catch up with GLTTRAVE, the New Orleans rave collective founded by Tabitha, ahead of Holiday Slay — their latest glitter-fueled takeover at The Rabbit Hole.

Known for blending rave culture, fashion-forward expression, and community-driven energy, GLTTRAVE has quickly carved out a lane of its own in the city’s nightlife scene. Holiday Slay builds on that foundation with six local DJs, genre-spanning sets, vendors, and a dance floor designed as a post-holiday release — part slumber party, part rave sanctuary.

We talked with Tabitha about GLTTRAVE’s evolution, the inspiration behind Holiday Slay, and why community remains at the heart of every event.

NOLA EDM: For those meeting you for the first time — who is GLTTRAVE?
GLTTRAVE: GLTTRAVE started in 2024 with the help of friends along the way. Glitter is the theme because it’s unapologetic, chaotic, and beautiful — the perfect symbol of a girls’ night out. I’ve always found so much beauty in EDM and rave culture. Raves feel like an oasis of serenity for me, and I love being able to create that space for other people.

NOLA EDM: Holiday Slay is your latest chapter. What inspired this night, and what does it represent?
GLTTRAVE: Holiday Slay is about release. After the chaos of the holidays, we wanted to create a space where people can dress up, dance it out, and just have fun together. It’s celebratory, playful, and very GLTTRAVE.

NOLA EDM: Your events blend rave, fashion, and performance energy. How do you approach curating a GLTTRAVE night?GLTTRAVE: I try to make GLTTRAVE feel like slumber-party vibes — except we’re jamming out to EDM sets instead of The Cheetah Girls. It’s about comfort, fun, and letting people fully be themselves.

NOLA EDM: How has New Orleans shaped the GLTTRAVE vision?GLTTRAVE: PLUR — peace, love, unity, respect — is deeply embedded in New Orleans rave culture, and it’s shaped me into the person I am today. Our nightlife scene is unapologetic and beautiful, and there’s nowhere else like it.

NOLA EDM: What should people expect from Holiday Slay tonight?
GLTTRAVE: Six amazing local DJs. The night starts with ass-shaking house and builds into some sickening wubs by the end. We’ll also have local vendors selling food, accessories, and skincare products.

NOLA EDM: What’s next for GLTTRAVE after tonight?
GLTTRAVE: We’ll be back regularly at The Rabbit Hole, and we’re already gearing up for GLTTRAVE Bacchus Edition on Sunday, February 15.
