DELIRIUM AURA Presents YAOI VS YURI RAVE at Siberia
DELIRIUM AURA continues carving out its own lane in New Orleans nightlife with YAOI VS YURI RAVE, landing at Siberia on Sunday, June 14 for a Pride-centered night of underground dance music and community energy.
Founded in 2022 by Reverie, OPJunkie, Henkai, Jupiter [HTX], Ama Sutra, and Tokidokihoe, DELIRIUM AURA emerged from a desire to create safer dance floors for femme DJs, queer communities, and POC ravers navigating New Orleans nightlife. Since then, the collective has built a reputation for high-BPM sets, immersive themes, and events rooted in inclusivity and consent culture.
This month’s YAOI VS YURI RAVE features Tokidokihoe, Reverie, Henkai, OPJunkie, and special guest Conn!e. Inspired by anime fandom culture and playful community debate, the event invites attendees to dress in blue or pink to represent their side while stepping into a dance floor designed around self-expression, movement, and safety.
For DELIRIUM AURA, themed experiences are part of the identity. The collective’s events consistently blur the line between rave, visual culture, and community gathering while centering the people often overlooked in traditional nightlife spaces.
NOLA EDM:For people discovering y’all for the first time, who is Delirium Aura?
Tell us about the collective, how it came together, and the kind of space you set out to create.
Delirium Aura: Our Collective delirium Aura is made up of Reverie, OPJunkie, Henkai, Jupiter [HTX], Ama Sutra and Tokidokihoe we started hosting our first show in 2022, When no one wanted to book femme dj’s who play high bpm music ! so we created a space where we could play the music we wanted to hear and to have a safe space for our POC + Queer Folks to party without judgment!
NOLA EDM: Delirium Aura has become known for building nightlife experiences that center queer and POC communities. Why has that mission been so important to the collective from the start?
Delirium Aura: We throw parties we would want to attend and whenever we would go out we would see people claiming to be a “safe space” but allow homophobia – Transphobia – And racism etc in their parties ! So ofc inclusivity + safety was our number one concern, we take pride in being one of the only 18+ POC QUEER safe space in new orleans
NOLA EDM: New Orleans has such a layered nightlife culture, but not every space feels equally safe or affirming. What gap did you feel Delirium Aura was filling when you first began throwing events?
Delirium Aura: Throwing a safe space not only for 21+ ppl but for 18+ ppl as well, The kids deserve a safe space to party and listen to good music, as well as having a safe dance floor where consent is a top priority!! OH and also to make a space for people to be comfortable dancing! There is too many parties where people are not dancing and that was super important to us as well
NOLA EDM: This month’s YAOI VS YURI RAVE is set for Sunday, June 14 at Siberia, with Tokidokihoe, Reverie, Henkai, Opjunkie, and special guest Conn!e on the lineup. What inspired this concept, and why did it feel like the right event to bring to life right now?
Delirium Aura: My Friend Tate Wanted us to host a yuri rave and we decided to just make it a yuri Vs Yaoi Rave for pride, because who doesnt love yuri + yaoi Plus there is always this big discussion of which is better!
NOLA EDM: The event invites attendees to come dressed in blue or pink to rep their side, which adds such a strong visual and playful identity to the night. How important are styling, dress, and crowd participation to the energy you want people to step into?
Delirium Aura: We love a themed night. It’s super important to have a theme so it’s easier for people to know what to wear! Whenever we host a rave we make sure to always have a clothing theme, it gives people something to look forward to and everyone always dresses up and shows out, it’s honestly one of the staples to our shows!
NOLA EDM: For someone coming to a Delirium Aura event for the first time this month, what do you hope they feel the moment they walk into the room?
Delirium Aura: I hope the first thing they feel is relief to walk into a room and see people that look just like them having a great time and actually dancing!
NOLA EDM: Looking ahead through the rest of 2026, what projects, releases, or events should people keep an eye out for from Delirium Aura?
Delirium Aura: We have so many shows coming up + bringing so many Great Dj’s And producers to new orleans! We have a Decadence Show on July 25th You should def keep an eye out for as well as another after dark on July 11th!
