We Belong Here: A New Riverfront Dance Festival Is Coming to NOLA
New Orleans has always been a city built around rhythm, movement, and gathering together through music. Now, a new festival is stepping into that energy on a much larger scale.
We Belong Here officially arrives in New Orleans for the first time this November, bringing a three-day electronic music experience to Woldenberg Riverfront Park along the Mississippi River.
Set against the backdrop of the French Quarter and downtown skyline, the New Orleans edition will feature multiple stages, global and local artists, upgraded amenities, and a scenic riverfront setting designed to let people fully settle into the music and the city around them.
Known for its immersive staging and intentionally curated atmosphere, We Belong Here has built a reputation around creating dance music experiences that prioritize flow, comfort, and connection just as much as the lineup itself. Oversized dance floors, thoughtful layouts, elevated production, and premium local food vendors are all part of the festival’s approach as it expands into New Orleans for the first time.
Rather than feeling overly commercial or overcrowded, the festival aims to create an environment where attendees can actually move through the space comfortably while still experiencing large-scale production and high-energy performances.
“New Orleans has always thrived when people create the spaces they feel are missing. We Belong Here feels rooted in that same idea — building an environment where people can fully settle into the music, move freely, and experience dance culture in a way that feels intentional, immersive, and connected to the city around them.”
Woldenberg Riverfront Park places the experience directly along the Mississippi River, creating an open-air setting that feels deeply tied to the city itself. Between the riverfront views, downtown skyline, and proximity to the French Quarter, the location gives the festival a uniquely New Orleans backdrop while still allowing room for a larger-scale dance music experience.
