TRNSCND Festival 2026: A New Chapter for New Orleans’ Music Community

The Ultimate Guide to TRNSCND Music Festival

For a city rooted in culture, creativity, and musical legacy, TRNSCND Festival was born from a simple question: what does the community need right now?

TRNSCND is a collective of creators, producers, and community-minded organizers who believe New Orleans is long overdue for a festival that brings people together across genres, backgrounds, and creative disciplines. Rather than chasing nostalgia or recreating past festivals, TRNSCND is focused on building something forward-thinking — inspired by New Orleans’ history, but not defined by it.

The festival is intentionally multi-genre, blending electronic, hip-hop, funk, downtempo, hick-hop, and experimental sounds so that everyone feels represented. TRNSCND isn’t about fitting into one scene — it’s about creating space for all of them to exist together.

NOLA EDM: For those meeting you for the first time — who is TRNSCND?
Tell us about the team behind the festival, your mission, and what sets TRNSCND apart from other events in the Gulf South

TRNSCND: TRNSCND is a collective of creators, producers, and community-driven organizers who believe New Orleans is ready for a festival that brings people together again in a meaningful way. This city has always been a melting pot of cultures, sounds, and stories, and our goal is to honor that by creating an event rooted in unity through music.

We’re intentionally multi-genre — blending electronic, hip-hop, funk, downtempo, hick-hop, and experimental sounds — so that everyone feels represented. TRNSCND is about shared space, shared energy, and celebrating what makes New Orleans special without forcing it into one lane.

Supporting the local community is a core part of our identity. We’re collaborating with New Orleans–based visual artists who will paint live during the festival, with their work auctioned afterward. A portion of proceeds will benefit Echelon Global Fund, a nonprofit focused on youth music programs, creative development, and using art as a path to new beginnings.

We didn’t start this festival trying to be “different.” We started by asking what the community needs and what people want to feel again — connection, inspiration, and belonging.

NOLA EDM: Pre-sales are live, and the excitement is building — when can fans expect the full lineup?
Any hints, themes, or surprises you can tease for 2026?

TRNSCND: We’re currently in the pre-registration phase, collecting sign-ups so fans can receive exclusive updates, presale access, and news about experiences happening before the festival.
Tickets officially go on sale January 5th.

We expect to release the full lineup within the coming weeks. We’re in the final stages of legal approvals with artist managers, and once everything is signed off, we’re ready to drop it.

What I can share is that the lineup is intentionally diverse and built to reflect New Orleans’ personality. We’ll be showcasing:

  • national touring artists
  • rising acts across EDM, hip-hop, funk, and crossover genres
  • heavyweight electronic names
  • and a wide range of talented local and regional artists

There are a few surprises in the mix — including acts and collaborations that New Orleans hasn’t experienced together on one bill before.

NOLA EDM: From the stages to the art to the crowd energy, what kind of vibe are you aiming to create for TRNSCND 2026?
Is it heavier, groovier, more experimental, or something entirely new?

TRNSCND: Our goal is to create a world that feels welcoming, imaginative, and immersive from the moment people walk in. We want TRNSCND to feel like a celebration of individuality and community at the same time.

Expect:

  • expressive costumes
  • unique vendors showcasing handmade and creative goods
  • interactive art installations
  • projection-mapped environments
  • roving performers
  • and stage concepts that are more akin to “worlds” than stages

One of the most exciting additions is our Festival Quest Game, a year-round interactive system where fans complete quests, earn rewards, unlock perks, and even take part in shaping festival content. It ties directly into our upcoming Ambassador Program, launching soon, which will give fans even more ways to get involved, contribute creatively, and earn festival merch and prize packs.

TRNSCND isn’t just a festival — we want it to feel like a community you step into.

NOLA EDM: What can new fans look forward to for the first festival?
Anything evolving in terms of production, sound, installations, or community collaborations?

TRNSCND: In short: big production, bigger imagination, and a focus on New Orleans-driven artistry.

Our stages will feature:

  • massive LED walls
  • intelligent hybrid lighting designs
  • atmospheric lasers
  • state-of-the-art sound systems
  • projection-mapped structures
  • immersive décor
  • and curated environments unique to each stage

Beyond the production, fans will experience:

  • live art installations created on site
  • interactive zones and creative spaces
  • community artists collaborating across different mediums
  • roving performers with unique micro-shows
  • and even secret performances tucked away in our VIP lounge and hidden corners of the venue

We plan on bringing an experience into TRNSCND while keeping the focus on community, culture, and creativity — the things that truly make festivals unforgettable.

Our goal is for fans to walk away feeling like they didn’t just attend a festival…
they became part of a story.
