After relocating to New Orleans, she pursued her dream of creating costumes for film and television wardrobe departments, working with companies like Paramount, Warner Brothers, and Apple TV. However, the film strike three years ago forced her to find a side hustle to make ends meet, leading her to launch her clothing line, Sparkle Puss. She diligently vended her products at various venues and festivals, gradually building her presence in the New Orleans community.Through her journey, she discovered her talent for curating playlists, eventually learning to DJ. With the unwavering support of her friends in the scene and enduring self discovery trials, she’s finally found her place and is ready to radiate her true self unapologetically.
She lives in pursuit of a constant artistic outlet, with creativity that is overflowing with no limits. In the past year she has also began her journey in learning how to produce. Her original track “Catcall” is a cinematic and playful story told through her own recorded vocals, joined by an animated visualizer created by a local visual artist, Buglung. Reaching out to the community for collaborations and media is very important to her, especially being surrounded by the incredible talent Louisiana has to offer. This year, she’s began a project called Catwalk, where she throws an event that features a fashion show as well as local femme DJ’s in New Orleans. Her biggest event yet will be at the Maidstone on September 5th, featuring 4 designers that will showcase their work poolside, along with some of the biggest local female headliners in New Orleans.
